A recent experience that inspired you creatively?
I was a guest in Bodrum for an artist residency last summer. I stayed 5 weeks in Türkiye and produced several works inspired by the place and with local materials that I had never used before.
Go-to activity for unwinding after a long day?
Cuddling with my dog. A 6 years old English Bulldog named Gordo, the sweetest and laziest dog ever.
Favourite way to get out of a creative rut?
I need to be totally disconnected and not think about work. Traveling to new places or a ski trip with friends but sometimes a walk in the park also works. Once I comeback at my studio usually my inspiration is back.
What's your favourite quote or saying that you live by?
Go BIG or go home. As my grandpa used to say: you have to be the best at what you do, whatever that is.
Your favourite way to spend a weekend?
I love visiting new places, but not on the weekend. I take my “weekends” during the week, Saturday & Sunday I’m at home working. There are too many people everywhere you go on the actual weekend.
